My Story

Well, this is awkward. I'm usually the one asking for your story! 

For starters, I'm a short, brown-skinned girl from Louisiana who loves Jesus (and cajun food)! I have a wonderful husband and partner in crime and two pretty amazing kiddos who keep me on my toes ❤️

I began my journey into mental health as a master social worker. I have worked on the non-clinical side of things with first-responders, non-profit agencies, unhoused population case management, and as an analyst for an insurance company. Through my work with people and their needs, I saw the value of actual therapy in the treatment of these individuals from a holistic viewpoint. Enter clinical licensure! I have formally trained in many trauma-focused and informed treatment modalities and worked with some of the toughest cases in the field. My job isn't always fun, but it is fulfilling.
